CRH Manual Pail Closer/Crimpers

Range of Containers:

Crandall pail closers are available for all-size lug cover pails. (For higher speed and automatic closing of lug cover and plastic pails, see the Model CRT, CRS, CRA, PPC5, and PPD closers.)

Installation (CRP models):

The only connection is to your in-plant airline. These closers are designed for suspension over a closing area, with the crimper supported by a counterbalanced arm for easy movement.

Operation:

CRH Models: The operator places the closing tool on top of a pail and presses down the two handles to seal the lid.

CRP Models: The operator places the closing tool on top of a pail, then presses the two operating buttons. The pneumatic cylinder operates the tool to crimp the lid. These closers are designed for suspension over a closing area, with the crimper supported by a counterbalanced arm for easy movement.

Maintenance:

Crandall Crimpers are designed so that no technician is necessary to make minor repairs. All bolts and fittings are standard sizes and require no special tools.

Safety:

CRP Models: The pneumatic system uses a two-hand-anti-tie-down system which requires the operator to use both hands to operate the closer.

All models are non-electric in operation.

CRP Models: 2 liters at 5.7 kg/sq. cm. (0.1 cu. ft. at 80 p.s.i.g.) per container closed.
